Hi Goce,

are you using your graphics card otherwise? Playing games etc.?

Maybe the message is correct?

See if a reboot clears up

See if a reboot clears up enough GPU memory.

I had this message on an app

I had this message on an app that does not use the GPU. I found that it was caused by an unrelated error so I assumed the problem was an out of date error message. That is an error number associated with the wrong message.
Of course it could be a real message, can't tell from here.

I have two Mac OSX laptops

I have two Mac OSX laptops ... one is running Snow Leopard, the other is running Lion. Both of them display "Waiting on GPU memory" without fail. A reboot will fix it temporarily, presumably because the GPU memory is cleared, but the error returns after some use. Very, very annoying. Neither of my windows machines have ever run into this problem. Please fix it.

This is not an error as far as I can see. Your Macs just tend to require more video memory for their own purposes. The reason why you haven't seen this on your windows machine (at least the one I see linked to your account) is that it has more Video RAM (800+ compared to 512 MB for the macs) and that the Windows windows manager seems to be less hungry fro video RAM.
