I am getting the same error reported by mturner on May 27.
6/22/2005 11:39:51 AM|Einstein@Home|Unrecoverable error for result H1_0481.0__0481.4_0.1_T23_Fin1_2 ( - exit code -1073741819 (0xc0000005))
6/22/2005 11:39:51 AM|Einstein@Home|Deferring communication with project for 59 seconds
Error seems to occur about once a day, or so. Always the same error and same exit code. Affected result is not seen again after the error.
Running E@H 4.79, BOINC 4.25, WinXP Home (soon to be Pro), two 3Ghz Intel processors.
Thoughts?

Different addresses all the time.. and some other kind of errors.
I would check my memory with [url=http://www.memtest86.com/]memtest86 and maybe try to inprove cooling in the case by opening up the sidepanel.
Could be corrupted files too.

I read somewhere that it has something to do with having the screensaver enabled. If you disable (not show graphics) the screensaver it should eliminate the problem. I will look for the thread again and post a link to it later.

Hi!
I have a lot of trouble with that error. I think that problem occurs when you have more than one project on one BOINC client. Using graphics (screensaver or "display graphics" option) seems to help this problem to occurs.

I will give the test app a try.
And I should have included in my original error report that I am also running SETI@home and was using the screensaver using Intel 82865G graphics controller.
I'll try the test app with E@H installed as app and as service. I'll let you know what happens.

The error messages in your results appear to be from a different problem. Your machine doesn't seem to have write permission for creating files in the location where BOINC is installed.
