I keep getting this message. "11/17/2008 6:57:55 AM|Einstein@Home|Message from server: To get more Einstein@Home work, finish current work, stop BOINC, remove app_info.xml file, and restart." But upon searching my pc for the file it fails to exist.

I'm running an AMD fx 53, Windows XP pro Sp3, Using Boinc using the current client version. any help would be appreciated.

Unable to run Einstein

The BOINC Data directory is hidden. So, you have to set the windows-explorer to show hidden files/directories before searching for app_info.xml.

After you've un-hidden files through folder options, the common location for the Data folder/Einstein folder (unless you've specified differently) for your OS would be:

c\Documents and Settings\All Users\ApplicationData\BOINC\Projects\einstein.phys.uwm.edu

Unless you created/installed an app_info.xml file however(required for the for the opti apps), there won't be one.
