After a recent upgrade of Ubuntu_64 to 11.04 my BRPS work units for Nvidia GPU were all trashing with this message...

6.10.59

process exited with code 127 (0x7f, -129)

../../projects/einstein.phys.uwm.edu/einsteinbinary_BRP4_1.23_i686-pc-linux-gnu__BRP4cuda32nv270: error while loading shared libraries: libz.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

]]>

After some research discovered lib.so.1 was missing from 32 bit libraries (while present in the 64 bit library)
***They are different versions !!!****

Installing package lib32z1 (Compression library -32 bit runtime) using synaptic solved the problem

Back up and running
