Intel iMac - Screensaver and Energy Setting

I think this is probably an OS X issue, not necessarily an Intel iMac issue...here's what happens:

1. Per my screensaver settings, BOINC starts after 5 mins of inactivity;
2. After 30 mins, the monitor screen turns off (energy saver setting), apparently turning off the screensaver;
3. Computations stop after the screen turns off.

Anyone know a way around this? I want to keep my monitor settings so it turns off after a period of inactivity, but also want the computations to continue from screensaver mode! I know you can run the BOINC program in the background all the time as well.

Thanks!

Intel iMac - Screensaver and Energy Setting

Make sure that your energy saver settings are not set to put the computer to sleep after some period of inactivity. That's the only thing I can think of that would cause this, unless you've got BOINC set not to do work between certain hours.
