Credits earned stay with the team you belonged to when they were earned. The only exceptions I know of are -

Changing teams is easy; go to your account page, click on 'Quit this team'. After that, click on 'Find a team' and join your new team.
That requires an answer that is not as short as you might think. When attached to a Team all credits crunched for the Team stay with the Team when you leave it to join another. HOWEVER your personal credits go with you. What that means is that I am crunching for TFFE, all of my credits go into 2 pots, one for TFFE and one for me. The ones for TFFE stay with TFFE even if I went to another Team. BUT the ones for me will go with me no matter what Team I am on. An example may help better than my words....I get 1,000 credits here, my Team also gets 1,000 credits. If I were to switch to another Team my 1,000 credits goes with me but my new Team does not get those 1,000 credits, they stay with the old Team because they were earned while with them. The new Team will get all new credits earned while crunching for them. I hope that is as clear as mud. For exceptions see John Hunt's post.
