Does einstein@home make use of computer's gpu? I'd rather crunch for einstein@home as opposed to seti, but I only run seti because it makes good use of my gtx 260. I'm trying to get onto the top 10 computers for cosmology@home, so I don't want to use my cpu for any other projects.

GPU

Here Here!

Is there any update or information regarding using GPU's to process Eistein@Home work units.

The performance boost would be amazing for the project I'm sure. I would be able to lend ~120GFLOPS at the click of the fingers.

PS: Boinc@Australia is focusing on Eistein@Home for the next 20 days, I hope there is a noticable peek in performance for your calculations.

It would be nice to use GPUs,

It would be nice to use GPUs, especially ATI Radeon HD4xxxx series which have a significant edge on the GTX 2xx cards using double precision shaders

There is an option to crunch for GPUGrid project instead of Seti@Home
