Trying to search for a solution, but no luck.

Client error - Float Invalid Operation

The only exit code I could find is -1073741819 (0xc0000005) and that's not "Float Invalid Operation" but something with access problems.

Is your AV perhaps blocking file access? You shouldn't let the BOINC data directory be scanned actively.

The exit status indicates a

The exit status indicates a "general access violation", but apparently is misleading. It probably occurs when trying to backtrace the stack after the initial error.

As can be seen in stderr, the problem is indeed a floating point exception, apparently occurring in the BOINC API (app_ipc.cpp:103).

It is true that the GW search (S6Bucket) is the only application which enables FPEs, but I never saw these occur on Windows before. I'll look into this.
