    log in and /join #boinc with any IRC client (including firefox and opera chat clients)

      got to LOVE when a firewall blocks the port and even tho you tell it to unblock irc 6666-6669 it refuses to let um threw! -.- looks like ill be haven to temp disable the firewall,,, gotta love it. :: mumbles under breath about mcafee ::

        woops, i take that back, appears either freenode is down.. or.. well i dunno lmao. only cliant i have is the one with firefox :) and it connects to other networks :) ill try later :)

        seeing without seeing is something the blind learn to do, and seeing beyond vision can be a gift.

            nope still nothin, i even disabled the firewall all together and enabled "ident" in chatzilla..

                If you have ChatZilla extension and firefox just cut and paste this into the address bar of your browser.
                ChatZilla will auto launch and connect to freenode and join the boinc channel

                  If you were using the nick Youth, then the answer is yes. And that is the same port numbr that i'm on too.
