This is a known issue. You

This is a known issue. You will have to edit the coproc_info.xml file and change how BOINC identifies the igpu to a string that it recognize.  The mark the file immutable so BOINC can't change it.

you can also run anonymous

you can also run anonymous platform and use the stock app that way without modifying/locking the coproc file. but that will require downloading the app with a compatible device, then forming your own app_info.xml file based on that.

Have to bring that up with

Have to bring that up with the project admins and their developers. Unless they make a new app or modify the existing app to work with the newer Intel igpus, you will have to adapt to the current situation.

Or wait it out . . .  or move onto a different project or use a different igpu or discrete gpu.

After changing the

After changing the coproc_info.xml, Einstein@Home Intel GPU tasks exit without output files, maybe that's why they only match for particular old Intel iGPUs

You also have to mark the coproc_info.xml file immutable or BOINC will just undue your edit at every startup.
